concepts in works

Some recent concept models revolve around the idea of post applied tension to a multitude of forms, which can be either regular or irregular in shape, systematic or chaotic. The compression that develops from the applied tension creates a structural whole from the pieces. This method of construction both drives the design process and gives it great flexibility, allowing these concrete forms to potentially defy gravity, or even be designed to move with the gentleness of a massive tree trunk, challenging the viewer’s most basic notions of our physical world.
